Alinone Weddings & Events Partners with Women in Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) at For the Culture Festival
Atlanta, GA – Alinone Weddings & Events is proud to announce its partnership with Women in Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) for the highly anticipated For the Culture Festival, a Juneteenth celebration dedicated to empowering the community and promoting cultural diversity. This momentous event will take place on June 17 at The Legacy Center.
In collaboration with WIFTA, For the Culture Festival aims to create an inclusive platform that showcases local talent, uplifts Black-owned businesses, and sparks meaningful conversations around important social issues. As part of this partnership, For the Culture Festival will feature the screening of the impactful documentary “Trafficked: Survivor Stories,” directed by Michael ‘Boogie’ Pinckney and co-executive produced by Robyn Watson, followed by a thought-provoking conversation with the film’s director, and esteemed speakers representing prominent organizations dedicated to combating sex trafficking. Robyn Watson, President of Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA), expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Partnering with the For the Culture Festival is ideal for us! We’re also excited to share a film that we hope will continue the conversation about the social implications of sex trafficking and what we can do to help combat it.
Chantelle Morgan and Reba Liddy, the festival’s organizers, emphasized the significance of the film screening and the creation of a community festival to uplift and inspire. They believe that through collective efforts, these events can spark change and encourage meaningful conversations about the challenges faced by marginalized communities.

In addition to the compelling film screening and engaging panel discussion, For the Culture Festival offers a dynamic lineup of entertainment, including live performances by local artists, delicious cuisine from Black-owned restaurants, and interactive activities for attendees of all ages. The festival begins at 4:30 p.m. and is a day filled with joy, empowerment, and cultural appreciation.
As part of their commitment to supporting the community, For the Culture Festival will donate 25% of the ticket proceeds to two local causes that directly impact the black community. This includes funding prostate cancer research and contributing to the fight against sex trafficking.
